rFDS: Fire Dynamics Simulation from LiDAR Data

rFDS provides an interface between LiDAR-based vegetation structure data and the Fire Dynamics Simulator (FDS) for modeling forest and vegetation fire behavior. The package enables the conversion of classified LiDAR point clouds into voxelized fuel structures, generation of FDS input files, and automated simulation workflows for fire dynamics and fuel consumption analysis.
